Standard-Update

The standard-update has to be done for every major, minor or patch release. WAR-Files and Clientsoftware will be updated with this process. Please also regard additional steps while updating a major release.

Update Insight Connector

  • The insight-connector must be updated if major version of insight changes (i.ie 15.n.n => 16.n.n) It is not necessary if only the minor or patch-version of insight changed.

  • Please follow the steps of chapter Installation Insight Connector for Maximo here

  • Please follow the steps of chapter Installation Insight Connector for Open in document Insight OpenJET Integration.

Update Insight Web

  • Rename existing <httpd-server>\htdocs\insight\web
  • Extract Insight-web-\<version>.zip into <httpd-server>\htdocs\insight
  • Copy config.json from saved folder to new insight\web folder
  • Copy also customized.css if exists

Update Insight Mobile

  • Rename existing <httpd-server>\htdocs\insight\mobile
  • Extract Insight-mobile-\<version>.zip into <httpd-server>\htdocs\insight
  • Copy config.json (and additional configurationfiles) from saved folder to new insight\mobile folder
  • Copy also customized.css if exists

Update languagefiles on JEE-Server

Extract insight-middleware-config-\<version>.zip into temp folder

copy temp/wildfly/standalone/configuration/insight/i18n to insight/wildfly/standalone/configuration/insight/i18n

Update war-files on JEE-Server

Deploy the following files on JEE-Server:

  • cockpit.war
  • config-service.war
  • crawl.war
  • download.war
  • download-gateway.war
  • download-roots.war
  • download-schedule.war
  • insigh-auth.war
  • insigh-cache.war
  • insight-change-events.war
  • insight-db.war
  • insight-esproxy.war
  • insight-gateway.war
  • insight-indexer-new.war
  • insight-log.war
  • insight-map.war (only if map is used)
  • insight-migration.war
  • insight-monitoring.war
  • insight-oidc-server.war (only if oidc is used)
  • insight-profile.war
  • insight-profile-gateway.war
  • insight-properties-web.war
  • insight-qpconfig.war
  • insight-recent-changes.war
  • insight-reconciler.war (only with maximo + open)
  • insight-reldb.war (only if reldb is used)
  • insight-roles.war

For datasource-adapter

  • insight-datasource-adapter.war

For mobile with pushNotifications also

Check Urls for Indexer http://localhost:8080/insight-indexer-new Check login for technical user http://localhost:8080/insight-auth/technical-user/auth-headers Check insight/mobile, insight/web.
